The trip from Singapore to Darwin was an adventure that all of were looking forward to with a little bit of intrepidation.  We had very little idea of what we were getting into, but then that is half the fun of cruising.  We had budgeted 6 weeks to make it through the archipelago.  In the end we spent 29 days on the journey.  Some of that was due to needing a week in Singapore at the start to get all of the preparations completed.  It was also because once we cleared Bali, we pushed fairly hard to make Darwin in time for Dave and Dave's flights home.
